I really love photography. The emotional connection that an image gives the viewer is priceless. I also really enjoy social media and the technological world that we now live in. It’s for this reason that I decided this year I would combine the two – actually three passions/hobbies that I enjoy. Photography, Travel and Technology. A blog seemed the best platform to create a living journal and it will also challenge me to keep up with it!..
I needed a bit of a push to do this so hubby brought me an Apple Mac ..genius. I have hundreds of stored photos from trips..our wedding…(yelp) still unpublished..that includes printed books & photos. I am a total fan of Instagram and you will see plenty of pictures that I have grabbed “On the Go”. I love this instant upload to my Facebook or Twitter site and the resulting connection it gives me to family and friends.
Having always been curious and engaged by technology I tend to give most things a crack – even if I have no idea what I’m doing..so you might need to be patient with me while I work this Blog thing out. While Travel and Photography will be a big part of this Blog, it will also include a bit of my day job (Recruitment) and family life (Wife,Mum,Nana,Sister, Daughter,Aunt,Friend) Phew ..no wonder I feel dazed at times! You can Google me…I am all over the place – it’s a scary thing when you check yourself out online.
Why the title “Turn Right 2 Go Left” ..well as written in ‘About’ … I always get my Left & Right hand mixed up when hubby and I travel…We do love to travel off the beaten path – but not necessarily the time it takes to get back to where we started.
What we have always loved though is meeting people…we are fascinated by their stories, their journeys and the connection it gives us to this wonderful crazy world we all live in…and with that thought here is the first crazy for the first Blog post .. an Instagram shot of one of our Granddaughters – aged 3 and already in love with the lens…say cheese!
